Designed with context, site and detail in mind the house relates the language of architecture by reflecting and understanding the buildings impact on its environment. Originally built in 1987, and recently updated, the house blends current trends with timeless design and materials including white riffed oak cabinets throughout, clear cut walnut floors, Carrera marble window ledges and palisandro and walnut kitchen cabinets.. The living room is the axis of the structure creating a breathtaking volume with its two story open ceilings, floor to ceiling windows framing the mature sycamore trees and canyon views. From the main level the living room grants access into the formal dining room, cooks kitchen and separate family room as well as a private office facing the street. Every room opens to the outdoors onto a deck, the gardens, swimmers pool or spa area. An open passage way looking down from the second floor to the living areas leads to three bedroom suites successfully connecting the inhabitants while offering privacy.
