Private, walled and gated Mid-Century modern retreat on an enchanting street in Rustic Canyon. Famed architects Shubin+Donaldson recently renovated this 1949 case study era house designed by Los Angeles architect, Kenneth Lind. Originally conceived to integrate Southern California indoor and outdoor living into one. The house is South facing on the land with floor to ceiling glass windows and sliding doors framing the lush landscaped grounds, pool and mature Eucalyptus trees. The first floor incorporates an open gourmet kitchen and dining area plus a private living room/flex space showcasing the beautiful wood built-ins. The second floor is dedicated to the private living quarters encompassing the gracious bedroom with en-suite bathroom, custom closets/storage and a private outdoor sitting area. Two additional bedroom suites, along with an informal lounge area, complete the upstairs.
