This charming hideaway in Rustic Canyon is located on appropriately-named Rustic Road, which has a stream running through its center. One approaches the home by some stairs and a leisurely, gated footpath, passing through fruit trees and flowers. The hideaway, on four lots, nearly one-half acre, is reminiscent of Northern California. It has inspired many artists who lived there, up to and including the present. There is now a fully equipped art studio in the garden. One of the artists was Brett Weston. He installed a dark room for his father, the photographer Edward Weston, creator of many world famous images.
